Since the emergence and subsequent disappearance of the artist known as Jann Pilka, so many meanings have been lost in mystery. For many years now the Jann Pilka Foundation has strived to create connections between the work of visual and textual artists as a way of acknowledging the work of this important artist and also perhaps as a symbol of his frustrating absence.
In addition therefore to the unfortunately misspelled Arts on the Web - a mistake preserved for amusement but also perhaps as an acknowledgement of the above - the Jann Pilka Foundation has moved this year to invest in the textual arts or arts of writers and writing.
At this point again I am forced to give special acknowledgement to the New Zealand Aotearoa curator of Jann Pilka's works, Dr Rick Blakeman and also the rather dogged contribution of Diedre Sandal as has been previously mentioned on several occasions. Further announcements will be made here via the Internet.
The Foundation must also thank Herr BB Kowalski for his ongoing contributions to the design of the site as abandoned sadly by Klaus Schneider due to an unfortunate misunderstanding.
Once again we appeal to person or persons with any information as to Jann Pilka's whereabouts to contact the Foundation immediately.
