Heaven was made into a feature by Miramax. I spent several years working on an original screenplay Desert Road, a noir road movie about two dead-end teens who steal a drug dealer's car, but the project was shelved after the production company went into liquidation. Above is a screencap from Josh Bridgeman's screen version of the short story 'Oilskin'.

One of my screenplays which did get made was Funny Little Guy, a short film directed by Chris Graves. The film screened internationally and won some awards. Details here at NZ Film.

Later I wrote the original screenplay for The Alibi Girl, directed by Clinton Phillips. Of all the projects I've worked on, this is my favourite. The full version is available at NZ Short Film.

Later Clinton, Bunny Read (actual name) and I collaborated on the short animated feature Breakfast. I wrote the screenplay and mumbled the voice over.
